The first ever Miggie Challenge was a great success with over 100 anglers arriving to support Miggie.

 

Anglers from Gauteng came down to fish in the challenge. Anglers that watched young Miggie grow up at the dam came out of retirement to spend the day with us, even those who themselves were battling tough health problems.

 

Unfortunately Miggie was battling a reoccurring infection at the time of the Miggie Challenge and was unable to attend the event.

Later Miggie said "Ok hiers dit nou na baie lank van speechless wees en nie weet wat om te se oor die flippen amazing visvang family nie , het ek besef ons is maklik en gemaklik , baie baie dankie vir elke sekonde wat julle vir my gegee het julle inspireer my deur julle amazing liefde I love all of u!!"
